Terre dei Ghelfi is a charming agriturismo and luxury wine resort with six elegant apartments, set in the Tuscan countryside and located in Castagneto Carducci, in the Bolgheri area, just a few kilometers from the sea and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
Designed for an adult audience (adults only 12+), it offers a peaceful and intimate atmosphere, with independent, spacious, and thoughtfully designed apartments, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, bright living spaces, and a private patio or terrace.
Terre dei Ghelfi is also a working farm producing Bolgheri DOC wine and Tuscan PGI Extra Virgin Olive Oil, with a garden, vegetable garden, and a panoramic heated swimming pool available all year round, for a stay immersed in nature, silence, and wine.

Wine and olive oil tasting at the Terre dei Ghelfi winery
Starting from May 2026, Terre dei Ghelfi will open the doors of its new tasting room, an intimate and thoughtfully designed space that invites guests on an authentic journey of discovery. In a calm and relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by soft music, guests will have the opportunity to take part in guided wine and olive oil tastings, gaining a deeper understanding of the estate’s products and the terroir of Bolgheri.
The Wine Experience is exclusively reserved for the estate’s guests, ensuring a personalized approach and a direct connection with the philosophy of Terre dei Ghelfi. At the end of the tasting, guests will also have the opportunity to purchase the wines and olive oil directly on site, as an authentic keepsake of the experience.
Wine and oil: the agricultural identity of Terre dei Ghelfi
Terre dei Ghelfi is a working agricultural estate with its own wine and olive oil production, deeply connected to the Bolgheri area. The vineyards, registered under the Bolgheri DOC, produce wines that reflect the character of the Tuscan coast, while the olive groves yield organic Tuscan PGI Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a symbol of a mindful and sustainable agricultural tradition.
Production is consistently focused on quality, following an approach centered on care, sustainability, and respect for natural rhythms. The tasting room and farm shop represent the meeting point between hospitality and production: spaces where guests can discover Bolgheri DOC wines and PGI extra virgin olive oil, taste them in an elegant setting, and purchase them directly on site, completing an experience that brings together stay, terroir, and wine culture.
