Welcome to Terre dei Ghelfi

We hope you have an unforgettable and relaxing stay. To ensure you have a pleasant experience, here is some useful information that will help you make the most of your time at our property.

Check-in & Check-out

Your apartment will be ready from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. On departure day, check-out is between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Early check-in & late check-out

We understand that travel plans can change. While our reception is not open 24/7, we are flexible. Please let us know in advance if you need an early check-in or late check-out so we can check availability. In case of early departure, check-out can also be arranged the evening before.

Access

Upon arrival, you will receive a personal access code valid throughout your stay. This code gives you access to the main gate and your apartment, ensuring full independence.

Non-smoking policy

Smoking is not allowed inside the apartments.

Payment

You may settle your bill at check-out with cash or credit card.

Children

To preserve the quiet atmosphere, we welcome children aged 12 and over.

Rates

Our rates include accommodation, a welcome basket, complimentary Wi-Fi, covered parking, use of our electric bicycles, access to the heated swimming pool, the SPA & Wellness Area, the Fitness Area, and VAT.
The local tourist tax of €2.00 per person per day is not included.

E-bike

Nature and outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy the complimentary use of our pedal-assist e-bikes. We have a maximum of 6 e-bikes available, therefore the service is subject to availability and advance reservation.
E-bike availability times may vary depending on the season, allowing our staff to carry out the necessary checks, charging and preparation of the bicycles. For information and reservations, please contact our staff.

Terre dei Ghelfi Shop

At Terre dei Ghelfi, you can purchase a selection of products from our organic farm, including our wines and Organic Tuscan PGI Extra Virgin Olive Oil, to take home an authentic taste of our land. For information about the products currently available, please contact our staff.

Stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi available in every apartment, by the pool, at Reception and throughout all common areas.

Swimming Pool

Our outdoor swimming pool, surrounded by nature, is a peaceful oasis open all year round. With a depth of 140 cm and heated to up to 30°C even during the colder months, it is the perfect place to relax and recharge in every season.

Opening hours may vary depending on the season. Please check the current opening times upon arrival or with our staff. When moving from the pool to your apartment or other common areas, we kindly ask you to wear appropriate clothing. Please also read and follow the regulations displayed at the entrance to the pool area.

Spa & Wellness Area

Our Wellness Area includes a Finnish sauna and a steam bath and is available daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Access is exclusively by reservation and is reserved for Resort guests. To ensure a pleasant and safe wellness experience, we kindly ask you to read and follow the regulations.

Fitness studio

Terre dei Ghelfi offers a modern fitness area equipped with Technogym machines.

The Fitness Studio is open daily from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM and is reserved exclusively for Resort guests. We kindly ask you to wear appropriate sportswear and follow the regulations.

The Value of Silence

At Terre dei Ghelfi, silence is something we deeply value. Surrounded by the beauty of the Tuscan countryside, our Resort is a peaceful retreat where the sounds of everyday life give way to birdsong and the rustling of leaves. Here, every moment is an opportunity to relax and recharge.
To preserve this peaceful atmosphere and respect the well-being of all our guests, we kindly ask you to keep your voice at a moderate level in common areas and to avoid using speakerphone during phone calls, so that everyone can fully enjoy the tranquillity that makes our Resort so special.

Water Dispenser

Near Reception, you will find dispensers providing chilled still water, room-temperature still water, sparkling water and ice. Each apartment is equipped with glass bottles that you can refill, helping to reduce the use of plastic and contributing to a more sustainable future.

Sustainability

At Terre dei Ghelfi, we are committed to preserving the environment and the natural beauty that surrounds us. The property holds an A4 energy efficiency rating, reflecting our particular attention to energy efficiency and sustainability.
In addition to using the recycling bins provided and reducing waste, we encourage you to use water and energy responsibly during your stay. Through small everyday actions, we can all help reduce our impact on the environment.

Parking

Covered and video-monitored parking is available within the property. Electric vehicle charging stations are located in the first parking space outside the covered parking area. We kindly ask you to move your vehicle once charging is complete.

Video Surveillance

For everyone’s safety, common areas are monitored by video surveillance in accordance with current regulations.

Staff Presence & Contact Information

Terre dei Ghelfi is a Country Resort and does not have a continuously staffed Reception. Our staff is normally present on the property approximately from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
